It’s been over six months since we’ve had any updates here and I do apologize. What I created to help others has certainly been pushed aside with other priorities in life and helping myself as well. The past half-year has been quite an adventure with a new job, a return of a small sense of normalcy & a hint of what a post-pandemic world will look like, as well as continuing to unpack a range of topics in therapy.
I still have a backlog of dozens of ideas to write about, plus some new ones percolating in my brain. Starting the new job, for instance, has given me a couple reminders of meeting new people who might have a (wrong) impression of what I can and cannot do. It’s also given me a whole new cast of characters to learn of my often self-teasing nature and different reactions to that.
I also gave the presentation I created for the middle schoolers back in March to a group of about a dozen software developers with whom I work, which generated several great questions (and blog topics).
I spend a lot of time outlining, drafting, editing, re-editing, tweaking, re-editing, recycling, re-editing, sleeping on, re-editing, and finally publishing. So while this is a quick post to let y’all know there is more coming, it’s just going to take a little time to formulate those thoughts after I finally commit to picking the next topic!
See you all soon…
🙂
